About

If you’re the type who enjoys landscape photography (especially in Big Bend National Park), Google maps, and other geo-data goodies; then this site is for you.

What is this site about?

The theme is High Resolution Photography, with every new post being series of interactive high resolution panoramic images from trips I’ve taken to far-flung places.  I wanted a place to create, share, and present these images in way that engages the viewer while giving the sensation of actually being there. When I discovered web technologies like OpenZoom and Zoomify; I knew these things could help me achieve my overall goals.  Over time I’ve added printable custom maps, GPX and Google Earth files, and interactive maps that can help you follow in my footsteps to see some of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Since I live and work in Texas, you will find the website to be heavy in photography from Big Bend National Park and West Texas.  You will also find photography from places like Utah, Colorado, and California.  If you’re searching for something in particular, just do a search in the right-hand sidebar and Google will do the rest.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.  I always appreciate hearing from you and thank you for visiting my site!
