Jennifer and I took a little vacation time down in Big Bend last week. The place is simply amazing. We spent three days at the park, which was far too little time to spend down there. On Friday I proposed to Jennifer down in Santa Elena Canyon, and what do you know? She said YES! So now we’re officially engaged! We haven’t set a date yet, but I’ll definitely post one when we do. We’ve also got some great pictures from the trip that I will put up later this week.

You are 6 years old today! I hope your birthday is wonderful and I will be thinking about you during your special day. I miss you and LOVE you very much!!

Headed down to Kerrville this past weekend to visit my Dad, Lisa, and my soon to be six-year-old sister Shelby. I took Jennifer along with me, the wonderful lady I’ve been dating, for a much needed break from the city. We visited with the family, old friends, and on Sunday headed down to the Guadalupe River to have a picnic and let the dogs go for a swim. All in all, it was a great time and we definitely need to go when the water is warm enough to swim in. The Texas Hill Country is awesome!
